Agile MDD as lever for all your development work The increase of complexity in software-intensive systems requires to
smarter use the existing development power. In practice, most development tasks, however, exist of manual labor. ArchitecIT and Luminis have therefore developed an approach
that is pragmatic and strongly focused on automation of repetitive and faulty development tasks.
What are the real benefits?
- Improved Quality, Flexibility and Productivity
- Cost Redution (alternative for off-shoring)
- Strong reduction of complexity
- Foundation for a Platform- or Productline Strategy
A tailored lever
We do not believe in "one-size-fits-all". We prefer to work together with customers on analyzing, designing and automating development tasks that provide the most profit. Your commitment
on concrete goals, is our commitment for proven results!
Moderated abstraction In Agile MDD the simplest possible model is the basis for the automation of relevant development tasks. Models are used as a
tool and not as a goal in itself. The models are always as close as possible to the problem domain and describe only what should be build. With flexible automatic translators the
technical solution is realized.
Close the gap!
Unique in our approach is the combination of iterative top-down and bottom-up engineering. This creates a good balance while focusing on the problem domain
and solution domain. From a top-down approach we start with the modeling of domain concepts. For example, a domain specific language that allows one to directly describe the business
functions in a model. This reduces the distance between domain experts and software engineering, while it also creates an effective interaction between other involved disciplines. In
short an effective way to close the traditional gap between functional design and technical design.
